"Stop watching LOST"

I have been reading and hearing a lot from most people successful in business to “stop watch fucking lost” and use that time to build the business you wanted to build or work on the product idea you have in mind. What they mean is for you to “get started”.

LOST is not to be blamed

People I think watch LOST or any other TV show to get their mind off from work. If all we did was work all day, the social / fun part of life where we spend time doing things other than work and enjoying time with family and friends would go away. We were meant to be social. Go ahead and watch LOST or any other TV show you want, if that is what you need to do to get your mind off work for a while.

So when does the “Stop watching fucking lost” hold true? When all you are doing is watching LOST in most of your free time, when in fact you could be working on your business idea/ or ways to improve your existing business. In this case I would agree with everyone saying “Stop watching fucking lost” all the time.

Need ways to improve / help you get started with your business idea? Here are a few things I would suggest

Get better at focusing on things

Focus, I think is the key to get things done. If you can train your mind to focus on one thing at a time, I think you will get through a lot of things you want to achieve. Avoid multi tasking and focus.

Don’t over work yourself

We often over work ourselves. It’s either the need to make more money with our business or spend that extra time at work to complete the things which you could not get done during office hours.

If you do any of the above two, you should stop complaining about not having enough time to improve your business or starting that business you wanted to start. Your actions go against what you want to do.

Say NO

Yes, saying “NO” is an option. You could say “NO” to the next project you are not interested to work on, “NO” to a customer who is taking up a lot of resources / time yet is doing very little to be thankful for your service. Say NO when required and use that extra time to work on things you wanted to work on.

I stopped watching LOST after Season 3.LOST me as a viewer soon after the made it confusing.
